The Girl Who Stole My Gold
The story revolves around the intense professional rivalry and burgeoning secret romance between two elite figure skaters, Wren Halloway and Vesper Côté. During the Winter Olympics, Wren suffers a devastating, career-threatening knee injury while attempting a difficult quadruple Lutz, allowing her fierce rival, Vesper, to claim the coveted gold medal. Deeply resentful and heartbroken, Wren steps away from the ice, believing Vesper "stole" the victory that was meant to be hers. Six months later, fate forces them back together into a joint training program under Coach Yelena Markov. As they share the ice in Vermont, the bitter tension between them slowly melts into vulnerable emotional connection and deep attraction. However, their secret romance faces immense pressure due to an upcoming Olympic season in Milan, a leaked paparazzi photo, and the interference of Vesper's controlling mother, Madame Côté, who attempts to force Wren out of the sport.
